Hannah Ellis performs in Songs from the Sofa virtual concert series March 18
What: The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau, iHeartMedia and Cat Country 107.1 welcome Hannah Ellis to the Songs from the Sofa virtual concert series. The Instagram live event, hosted by Louis Kaplan, vice president of programming at Cat Country 107.1, will feature Ellis’s music, interviews and stories behind the songs.
Songs from the Sofa debuted in May 2020 with music sensation Sam James. The monthly live performances have included Jay Allen, Maia Sharp, Dave Pahanish, Ben Allen, Clint Daniels, Parmalee, Danny Myrick and Bridget Tatum. All performances are archived on the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest Instagram page.
Songs from the Sand debuted in February 2021 with local favorite and Island Hopper alum Sheena Brook at the Pink Shell Resort & Marina on Fort Myers Beach. Songs from the Sand gives music lovers a chance to see the beautiful beaches of Southwest Florida.
Who: Hannah Ellis, BMI singer-songwriter recently included into Rolling Stone’s “Artist to Watch” list. The Kentucky native is an American Idol mentor and competed on Season 8 of NBC’s “The Voice.” Ellis has written songs recorded by artists spanning multiple genres including Carly Pearce, Sidewalk Prophets, Russell Dickerson and Filmore. She has also toured with Gavin DeGraw, Dwight Yoakam and Devin Dawson and was a featured artist on the CMT “Next Women of Country” tour in 2019.
