Media alert: Danny Myrick to perform in Songs from the Sofa virtual concert series Dec. 17
What: The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau, iHeartMedia and Cat Country 107.1 welcome Danny Myrick to the Songs from the Sofa virtual concert series. The Instagram live event, hosted by Louis Kaplan, vice president of programming at Cat Country 107.1, will feature Myrick’s music, interviews and stories behind the songs.
Songs from the Sofa debuted in May with music sensation Sam James. The monthly live performances have included Jay Allen, Maia Sharp, Dave Pahanish, Ben Allen, Clint Daniels and Parmalee. All performances are archived on the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest Instagram page.
Who: Danny Myrick, BMI singer-songwriter behind hits including Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah,” LoCash’s “I Love This Life,” and 2009’s most played country smash, Jason Aldean’s “She’s Country.” Myrick just released his first solo album, “King of Jones County” and is currently producing soon-to-be released projects by “The Voice” Season 17 winner, Jake Hoot.
